American Heart Association Heartsaver courses are designed for the general public or anyone not involved in healthcare. These courses teach basic CPR/AED and, if added basic first aid training. This a great class for anyone that wants to help in a time of crisis , but does not want to do this for a career. Some Home health agencies will accept this card for their practices. Classes available Online with HeartCode Heartsaver, In-Person new and renewal classes, and Skills Sessions after completion of HeartCode online. 2-year certification upon completion.
This Heartsaver® CPR AED course is exclusively for K-12 students, faculty, and staff. The Heartsaver CPR AED course is designed to prepare students to perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Heartsaver courses are designed to be flexible and customizable with optional modules and are intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course. Class is available In-Person only and is approximately 6hrs.
American Heart Association BLS Provider is a CPR/AED course designed for the Healthcare Provider. This class is usually the required class for anyone that works in the healthcare field. All hospitals require this certification to work at their locations. Classes are available Online with HeartCode BLS, In-Person new and renewal, and Skills Sessions with completion of HeartCode online. 2-year certification upon successful completion.
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced healthcare provider course that teaches the healthcare provider pre-cardiac arrest, cardiac arrest, and advanced stroke care management. This class covers cardiac medications, EKG interpretation, and cardiac algorithms. Classes are available online with HeartCode ACLS, In-Person new and renewal, and Skills Sessions after completing the online portion. 2-year certification upon completion.
American Heart Association Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) class is designed for the advanced healthcare worker. This course covers pediatric emergencies such as pediatric cardiac arrest and the advanced management of these patients. Classes available Online with HeartCode PALS, In-Person new and renewal courses, and Skills Sessions with completion of HeartCode PALS. 2yr certification upon completion.
The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.

If you have selected a blended learning course, the cognitive (online) portion will be completed at eLearning.Heart.org.

You will be assigned a course from L.E.T.S. Training Center.

You will also need to complete a hands-on skills session to complete the course.

You received your card via email from your Training Center and already claimed it.

Before reaching out to your Training Center to request a new card, try to run a few searches in your email inbox to ensure you didn’t overlook the email with the link to access your eCard.

  • Search and make sure you don’t have any emails from: No-eccreply@heart.org or eCards@heart.org

  • It’s possible that the email would have come directly from the Training Center’s email. Run a search with the name of their organization.
